Can we say panic mode for this nesting Momma!? Not really panic, but there are moments of anxiety as the nesting has hit full blown. Which it should be considering we will deliver in 3 1/2 weeks! At the last doctor appointment, we scheduled our repeat c-section! If all goes as planned, our little one will be celebrating his/her birthday come May 4th! We are scheduled to deliver at 7 am. Yes, for those of you who have done this induction/scheduled c-section thing, you what what that means... we have to be at the hospital at 5 am! If we decide to stay here in Jasper that night, that means we would have to leave here by 4 am, making me get up at 3 am to get a shower and situated! Heck- why even go to bed at that point with all my tossing and turning?
We are preparing for little one to arrive though. Daddy has finally started painting the room and should have it done by weekend. Then it will go together fast! We have everything from Tucker. I loved my bedding that I had made for him and we literally only used it for 3 months (2 of which he slept in our room in the cradle). So, we are using it again as well as all the furniture. Easy to put together! The dresser is full of clean gowns, onesies, diapers, sheets, blankets, etc. And once we know if we have a little Thomas Alexander or a little Ann Collier (Annie) will be able to fill in with blue or pink! Funny how second time around, you know that the important stuff is and that is what you go with (at least that is the case for us here). The picture I have included is a picture of me at about 8 months! My sweet and dear playgroup friends from our old neighborhood gave us a Playgroup Diaper shower at the beginning of March. And they totally stocked us up on great diapers, wipes and a few necessities! I must say I do believe I have grown since this picture. Thankfully the scale hasn't grown too much since then (although it if had, I might have thrown it out the window) but my belly definitely feels like it can't stretch any further! Tucker is wondering where my belly button is and if it will return! Let's hope so!
