Tucker is now 19 months and getting closer and closer to two! Yikes! We can't believe how quickly the two years have gone by! Tucker has become such a big boy. And everyday he is doing something new! He is becoming such a great communicator! His vocabulary is just growing and growing. We now are hearing phrases of things he wants to do or for us to do. He tries so hard to say new words as well-quite interesting what comes out. Our favorite of course is when he tells us "I love you too." Definitely a tear jerker!

Tucker continues to be a friendly little man. He loves to say hi to EVERYTHING! Walking down the hall for nursery, while waving he'll say..."Hey wall! Hey hearts! Hey elephant! Hey chair!..." Anything and everything get a hello and a wave. We are starting to see imaginary play. He has been cooking and driving cars and things like that. But recently he has started sharing with his Elmo. He'll give Elmo his paps or his milk. If only that would carry over to sharing with friends! Oh well, guess that will come too!

Tucker has started kindermusik again for the next few weeks. He loves seeing Mrs. Heather! He enjoys the new songs since most seem to have animals in them. He will sing "Bow Wow Wow" at times when we are not at music. This class will be a great introduction for Mother's Day Out in the fall. Mrs. Heather does story time on a blanket, circle time and sharing time. Lots of interaction with singing and dancing! Highly recommend Kindermusik for Tucker's age!

We headed to the beach for a spur of the moment trip. Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Debbie from St. Louis invited us to come and join them for a long weekend. We took them up on it and grabbed Grandma to head south. Tucker enjoyed a few visits to the sand and indoor pool. He loved the idea of the ocean. Most of the trip we were looking for boats or construction diggers! He also kept watching for sharks, fish, sea horses, and shells. Definitely knows what belongs in the ocean! It was a little chilly so we look forward to warmer weather on our spring break trip!
