Our Christmas card photo
Love this one!
We are getting ready for the holiday season around our house. Tucker is very excited about Christmas- or should we say things associated with Christmas.. lights, trees, Santa, reindeer, candy, cookies! He absolutely loves lights! He loves it when we turn on the Christmas tree lights. We keep them on all day. When Daddy gets home, he plugs in the outside lights with Tucker. Tucker knows this will happen when Daddy gets home! It is a big deal! "LIGHTS" is often whispered with excitement throughout the day. We can't wait for his reaction to Zoolight Safari.
Tucker also enjoys Ho Ho or Santa. We went for our first visit yesterday. Daddy had the camera ready and the entire time we stood in line, Tucker kept repeating "Santa." But as soon as we approached, Tucker was not liking Santa. He wouldn't let go of Mommy and at one point ended up in between Santa's legs because he wasn't going to sit! Even with Santa offering a candy cane, Tucker would have nothing to do with Santa. Of course afterwards, he kept calling Santa and was even looking for the candy Santa offered. We figure we'll attempt a couple of more times to see if he'll try again.
We are also keeping an Advent wreath and calendar here at the house. Each night we do a reading and light the candles on the wreath with dinner. Tucker absolutely loves this because of the candles. He is very fascinated and keeps saying over and over again- candle! candle! candle! Tucker has the calendar hanging on his bedroom door. Each day he adds a figure to the nativity scene. So far we have only added all the animals and stars-since those are his favorite. Some how a sheep and camel seem to be where Mary and Joseph belong. Looks like Mommy might have to do some rearranging!
With all this fun and still many more days until Christmas, who knows what will happen next! It is definitely true how Christmas through the eyes of a child is the best way to experience the holiday season!

Welcome to blogspot! I've enjoyed the other site you've kept for Tucker, but this one is really easy--and free! Love the Christmas stories!
